I vs You vs We

So many times I hear couples communicating in the "I" and "You" vs communicating with the "We" and the "Us". The shift in understanding the difference is amazing. Then applying the We and Us will bring the relationship to a level of understanding and forward movement. Focusing on ourselves as individuals and trying to say we are a couple or a partnership doesn't really work all that well. There are many moments of disconnect when we lose sight of the Us.
